AHVAP Honors 2026 Award Recipients at Annual Conference & Industry Partner Expo in Grapevine, Texas
ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP) presented its 2026 member awards this week during the AHVAP Annual Conference & Industry Partner Expo in Grapevine, Texas. The awards recognize value analysis professionals and partners whose leadership, evidence-based practice, and service have advanced patient care and the healthcare value analysis profession over the past year.
This year’s honorees include Amanda Conner, MSN, RN, CPN, CVAHP, FAHVAP, recipient of the Brooke Berson Award, the association’s highest honor for exemplary contributions to healthcare value analysis; Mary Harpole-Snider, inducted as a 2026 AHVAP Fellow; two Rising Star Award recipients; three Making a Difference Award recipients; three Presidential Citation recipients; and the seven graduates of the 2026 AHVAP Executive Leaders Fellowship Program.

The awards were presented during the conference’s awards ceremony, with the Fellow designation presented by Ruth Carrico, DNP, PhD, FNP-C, CIC, FSHEA, FNAP, FAAN, Chair of the AHVAP Fellows Review Committee, and the Presidential Citation Awards presented by Anne Marie Orlando, MBA, BS, RN, CVAHP, RCIS, eFACHDM, PNAP, FACHE, FAHVAP, President of the AHVAP Board of Directors.
Brooke Berson Award: Amanda Conner, MSN, RN, CPN, CVAHP, FAHVAP
Named for AHVAP founding member Brooke Berson, the Brooke Berson Award celebrates a professional whose contributions to healthcare value analysis are exemplary and who demonstrates collaboration, innovation, and leadership in driving positive change. Conner serves as a Director-at-Large on the AHVAP Board of Directors, co-chairs the AHVAP Membership Committee, serves on the Education and Clinical Practice Committee, and served as faculty for the inaugural AHVAP Pediatric Healthcare Value Analysis Summit. Amanda is the Manager of Clinical Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing for Children’s Healthcare of Alabama.
2026 AHVAP Fellow: Mary Harpole-Snider, FAHVAP
The AHVAP Fellow designation is the association’s highest recognition of a member’s sustained leadership, scholarship, and contribution to the healthcare value analysis profession. Candidates are reviewed by the AHVAP Fellows Review Committee.
Rising Star Award: Susan Wigglesworth and Andy Preising
The Emerging Leader Award, known as the Rising Star Award, recognizes early-career value analysis professionals who have demonstrated exceptional promise, initiative, and impact within the first five years of their value analysis careers. Preising also serves on the AHVAP Nominating Committee and the Education and Clinical Practice Committee. Wigglesworth and Preising are both graduates of the prestigious AHVAP Executive Leaders Fellowship Program.
Making a Difference Award: Robin Lane, Rhonda Reeder, and Dr. Cassandra Self, DHA
The Making a Difference Award recognizes value analysis leaders and Industry Partners who have transformed patient care through evidence-based innovation. Lane, a 2025 recipient as well, served on the 2026 Annual Conference Committee and is a Past President of AHVAP. Reeder serves on the AHVAP Education and Clinical Practice Committee. Dr. Self is AHVAP’s healthcare finance expert, and is a seasoned healthcare executive.
Presidential Citation Awards: Jasmine Jarrett, MBA, BSN, RN, CVAHP, FAHVAP; Amanda Conner, MSN, RN, CPN, CVAHP, FAHVAP; and Andrew Loehr, DNP, RN
Presented at the discretion of the AHVAP President, the Presidential Citation recognizes individuals whose service to the association and the profession has gone well beyond what was asked of them. Jarrett and Conner both serve as Directors-at-Large on the AHVAP Board of Directors. Dr. Loehr is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Children’s of Alabama.
AHVAP also recognized the 2026 graduating class of the AHVAP Executive Leaders Fellowship Program, a ten-month, 100-plus-hour program that develops the strategic, financial, and leadership capabilities of healthcare value analysis executives. Each graduate now holds the AHVAP Executive Leader Fellow Graduate designation. The 2026 graduates are Dawn McWhorter, Ross Cleveland, Dr. Danielle Molina, DNP, Seth Klockmann, Jennifer Houff, Thomas Snyder, and Allyson Easterling.
During the ceremony, AHVAP also thanked outgoing Board members BJ McCluskey, MBA, CVAHP, FACHDM, FAHVAP; Jasmine Jarrett, MBA, BSN, RN, CVAHP, FAHVAP; and Sandy Wise, MBA, BSN, RN, CVAHP, for their service to the association.
