Darkforce™ advances toward FedRAMP High for government deployment

WASHINGTON, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Darkforce™, the U.S. Federal subsidiary of Darkstrike®, announced that it has submitted its FedRAMP High package through Knox Systems for In-Process designation, advancing the company’s ability to deliver its cybersecurity and AI safety platform to U.S. government, defense, and national security customers.

AI is transforming government operations while increasing the speed, scale, and consequences of cyber and autonomous-system risk. AI-enabled systems can invoke tools, access sensitive information, and interact with critical systems. Acting at machine speed, AI-enabled adversaries can exploit vulnerabilities faster than traditional detect-and-respond security models were designed to address.

“Cybersecurity was built around a world where humans and systems operated at human speed. AI fundamentally changes that equation,” said Chris Webber, CISO of Darkforce™ and former CISO for the White House, Executive Office of the President. “When AI and cyber threats can act at machine speed, organizations need security capable of controlling actions before they occur, rather than relying solely on systems that detect, evaluate, and respond after execution has begun.”

Darkforce™ contrasts current cybersecurity and AI platforms. Darkforce™ adds quantum-ready cryptographic control at the point of execution for AI and systems, providing a physics-based layer of protection when credentials are valid, perimeter defenses are bypassed, or AI systems attempt actions outside authorized boundaries. Rather than predicting every AI decision or cyberattack, Darkforce™ determines whether an action is authorized before it executes, even when identities are valid or environments are compromised. The platform disrupts cyberattacks, unauthorized AI and autonomous operations, ransomware, and data exfiltration.

“As AI compresses time and cyber threats accelerate, security has to move upstream. Access and identity are no longer the security boundary, intent and cryptography are.” said David Granzotti, Founder and CEO. “Darkforce™ asserts control before an unauthorized decision becomes an action. FedRAMP High In-Process through Knox Systems is an important step toward bringing these capabilities into federal environments. Their accelerated platform has significantly reduced complexity and helped us move faster with confidence.”
