Global sales leader brings customer focus, partner expertise and AI-era growth experience to SAS

CARY, N.C., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SAS, a global leader in data and AI, has appointed Casey McGee as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer, effective today. McGee brings 25 years of enterprise sales and revenue leadership experience across Google, Microsoft and Lytx, with a career focused on customer growth, partner ecosystems, industry-led go-to-market models and AI-era commercial execution.

Most recently, McGee served as Managing Director, Global Partner Ecosystem and Applied AI at Google, where his work focused on driving revenue and consumption across top business application and infrastructure partners. Before joining Google, McGee spent 22 years at Microsoft in a series of sales, partner and global operations leadership roles, then served as Chief Revenue Officer at Lytx, with responsibility for marketing, sales, partner and customer success functions.

At Microsoft, McGee held sales leadership roles spanning global ISVs, digital natives, venture capital, private equity, systems integrators and strategic partner ecosystems. His experience included building industry-focused partner models, creating Microsoft’s Digital Natives customer segment and leading business operations for Microsoft’s Global Sales and Marketing organization.

His leadership leaves a solid foundation for McGee to build on as SAS enters its next phase of growth.
